On September 4, MIBF will become a fully-featured platform of the 37th IBBY Congress. MIBF 2020 invites IBBY delegates to attend the fair.

In 2020, The Moscow International Book Fair, which is the largest professional book fair in Russia, will partly coincide with the 37th IBBY Congress in Moscow. Owing to this, as well as to mark the anticipated launch of the new Moscow International Children's Book Fair (MICBF) in 2021, MIBF is preparing a special program on children's books:

- Introducing to the public representatives of the Russian children's book market (presentations,
round tables, conferences);
- A display of the best children's books from all over the world;
- Exhibitions of book illustrations by award winners in the field;
- A showcase of book illustrations created by participants of the MICBF art residence;
- Moscow Fellowship seminar for local and foreign participants of the event programme;
- Presentations and exhibit booths of Russian and international institutions and programmes
related to children's books and reading in gemeral;
- Pitching new publishing ideas and projects for children;
- City of Illustrators zone;
- Comic Book Street zone;
- Art Zin & Self-Publishing zone;
- Edutainment & Kids conference;
- Bookshop. Future of the Book innovation forum;
- Extensive programme by the MIBF 2020 guest of honour – Republic of Korea;
- A presentation of the new annual International Children's Book Fair in Moscow (MICBF),
which will launch in 2021

IBBY Congress delegates will be granted free admission to the MIBF 2020 international business programme over the duration of the fair, September 2 through 6.

If you wish to have your company represented at MIBF, we will start accepting applications for programme participation, event organisation, and booth rentals from November 15, 2019. IBBY Congress
participants shall receive a special discount and an additional promotional package.
